EasyGo stands as a prominent e-Mobility services provider (EMSP) and Charge Point Operator (CPO), boasting the largest EV charging network throughout Ireland. Presently, we cater to over 77,000 drivers, facilitating access to over 4,500 charging points across both Ireland and Northern Ireland. With a monthly addition of 2,000 new users, our network continues to expand. Our versatile EV charging solutions cater to diverse environments, including Destination, Fleet, Forecourt, Hospitality, Public Sector, Retail, Shared Living, and Workplace settings.

A recent announcement unveiled a substantial €30 million investment from Aviva Investors, the global asset management arm of Aviva plc. This injection of funds is set to directly pave the way for the creation of up to 60 job opportunities spanning operations, customer support, and sales.

As a result of this, we are recruiting for a Financial Accountant.

 

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Preparation of month-end Management Accounts and KPI Reports across the Group. To include P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflows.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
  • Production of year end statutory financial statements.
  • Assist the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate VAT returns, corporation tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights into business performance and trends.
  • Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Registers.
  • Collaborating with teams on the tendering process.
  • Providing support for internal and external audit queries.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Document and review internal guides and operating policies and processes.
  • Participating in and contributing to regular team meetings.
  • Ensure quality control over the financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Undertaking ad hoc finance tasks and project work as requested.

 

We are seeking candidates with the following Experience:

 

  • CIMA/ ACA/ACCA fully qualified, with commercial/industry experience.
  • Proven experience in preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable and monthly journals.
  • Experience of working in a consolidated working environment with Consolidated Package would be an advantage.
  • PowerBI or other reporting and analysis tools would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and analytical problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and technologies and ability to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
  • Experience in the public and private tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various financial software packages, with a preference in SAP Business One.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft applications, Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge a necessity and strong analytical skills.

 

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Office based in our Maynooth office with hybrid working a possibility once settled in (dependant on business needs).
