Refund Policy

Here at EasyGo, we always aim to make using our electric vehicle chargers a smooth and effortless process for our customers. However, we understand that there may be instances where a refund for purchased credits may be necessary. Please review our refund policy below. This supplements our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this refund policy affects your legal rights, including your right to cancel your contract with us during the 14-day cooling off period.

 

  1. Refund Eligibility:

1.1. It is up to you to decide how many credits (and what amounts) to load onto your account but please note that credits will expire if not used within 12 months of being purchased.

1.2 Any decision regarding the provision of refunds will be made promptly, and at Our reasonable discretion.

1.3. Credits that have been used up by charging vehicles are non-refundable.

1.4. Refunds will not be provided for credits purchased through a third-party platform. You will have to contact the third-party platform that sold the credits to you.

1.5. The minimum refund that you can claim is five euros.

1.6. We incur costs when we make refunds. We make an admin charge of 5 euros, except when you cancel your contract with us during the 14-day cooling off period.

 

  1. Refund Process:

2.1. To request a refund, customers must provide proof of purchase (such as a receipt or transaction ID) along with a written explanation for the refund request.

2.2. Refund requests can be submitted through our customer service email (hello@easygo.ie).

2.3. Once approved, refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days after the request is approved. The timing depends on your bank’s processing time.

 

  1. Refund Methods:

3.1. Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase (credit card, debit card, etc.). Refunds are only available to bank accounts in the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) zone.

3.2. If the original payment method is no longer valid, an alternative payment method can be used, but only after confirming that it belongs to the same person.

 

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

  1. Refund Exceptions:

4.1. You can only claim refunds for credits up to the value that you paid for them. Refunds will not be issued for credits that were part of a promotional offer or discount if this results in you receiving more than you paid for the credits.

  1. Feedback/Complaints

 If You would like to provide feedback or make a complaint in respect of the Service, You may do so by contacting the Customer Care Team, or via email to hello@easygo.ie

 

Refund Journey:

The customer contacts us via email (hello@easygo.ie) requesting a refund. We examine each case in accordance with our Refund Policies to determine whether a refund will be processed.

  • If NO: we will communicate our policies to the customer and explain why a refund is not possible. We will do this within 3 business days.
  • If YES: we will confirm the reason for issuing the refund and process it internally. We will do this within three business days. We will send a message confirming that the refund will be issued within 7-10 business days after approval, subject to your bank’s processing time.
