EasyGo Commence Another Major EV Rapid Charging Scheme in County Mayo

This week saw another major milestone of the EasyGo and eir partnership with the activation of Three rapid chargers in one day in County Mayo as part of their project to replace retired telephone kiosk infrastructure with much needed EV charging units for public use.

This next phase of the EasyGo and eir scheme is in collaboration with Mayo County Council making the region one of the most accessible places in Ireland for EV drivers. The Three 50kW Tritium rapid chargers are located at separate locations sited at Westport Quay, James Street Westport, and Ballinrobe, and are the first of 25 rapid chargers being installed, with the remainder going live in the coming weeks.

In addition to the three chargers made live today, EasyGo will be installing another 22 rapid charge points in Ballyhaunis, Castlebar, Charlestown, Claremorris, Crossmolina, Newport, Ballina, Foxford, Achill Sound, Bangor Erris, Belmullet, Cong, Knock, Louisbourg & Mallaranny.

Drivers can access charging services by signing up to the EasyGo App, these chargers are also equipped with contactless payment terminals for payment via credit or debit card.
