17 Mar New Lidl Store in Sligo gets the Latest DC Fast Charger
EasyGo helps the EV drivers of Sligo charge up while they shop.
The newly reopened Lidl store on Cranmore Road, Sligo recently went through a €6 million refurbishment and was back open last month. Among the many upgrades and improvements was a number of sustainability features including PV solar panels and electric vehicle charging points which EasyGo have installed this week.
50kW DC Fast Charger
The new EV charging point installed is one of our latest state-of-the-art 50kW DC fast chargers which can add 80-100km of range to an EV in less than 20 minutes. This will certainly help those electric vehicle drivers top up their battery and add some substantial range in a short period of time while shopping instore.
This is only the second DC charger in Sligo and in a great location only a few minutes off the N4, so great for both local drivers and those passing through Sligo on longer journeys either heading north or venturing onto the Wild Atlantic Way, making the charger a great for tourism in the area also.
Available for all Electric Vehicles
This fast charger is suitable for all makes and models of electric vehicles, with both CCS and ChAdeMO connections. Drivers can simply use the EasyGo App or Fob to Start/Stop the chargers with live availability and payment details on the App which is available to download on your smartphone on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
